See firsthand how we cultivate our vibrant organic gardens, including our high-tunnel greenhouse, and discover the farm products that nourish our community. Your tour will be a memorable experience filled with fresh air, beautiful scenery, and a deeper appreciation for the land.
Farm-to-Table Dinners
Dinner is served under an event tent and/or on the covered patio. An incredible and skillful team of waitstaff serves dinner. The chef will visit with guests between courses (as they find time) to describe the culinary delights!
A cash bar is open for drinks (wine, beer, kombucha, etc.).
Tickets are sold in advance, online, or at our farm stand. We must know how many dinner guests we will serve at least a few days in advance. Purchased tickets are transferable (you can sell them to others) but are NOT REFUNDABLE. If you transfer your ticket to someone else, please notify us with their name so we can add them to our check-in list.
We typically host a few Farm-to-Table Dinners each summer. Each dinner showcases a connection between the farmers, the chefs, and the dinner guests. The food ingredients are sourced from local producers - mainly from the Bear Butte Gardens organic farm. The chefs work with the farmers to select the best produce at its peak ripeness. The meats are also chosen using the same process. Once the ingredients are known, the chef’s artistic creativity and culinary skills are unleashed to create an incredible menu for the guests!
Each dinner event includes a social hour where the guests can gather and get to know each other. A local musician will provide live music. Within the social hour is an optional walking tour of the Bear Butte Gardens organic farm. The farm tour covers the overall business, land stewardship, and production models - including gardening, goats, sheep, poultry, and livestock guardian dogs.
Family Friendly Events on the Farm
We typically host several family-friendly events on our farm each year. In the past few years, we’ve held Spring Festivals, Summer Solstice Festivals, Mushroom Festivals, Fall Harvest Festivals, and Winter Wonderland Festivals. We like to mix it up and keep things fresh with new event themes. Our family events always include the following concepts: family-oriented activities, healthy lifestyle, supporting local economies, community building, education, nutritious food, music, and fun! Our farm stand is always open for your shopping convenience. We often have other vendors on-site selling their products.
Oh, and did I mention the food is always excellent!
Our family events also always include farm tours! We strongly support the idea of people knowing where their food comes from. Our tours generally cover multiple aspects of our farm, including organic gardening, livestock and poultry, land stewardship, and our business model.
